Liquor brings back light to Gandhi EYES..!!

Neither I am a typical follower of Gandhi nor does my list of people whom I idealise gives any static place to Vijay Mallya. But still this matter of latest international peace concern leaves me with countless feelings of mixed emotions. As stated in the New York Times,"The happy Bollywood to the high drama surrounding the $1.8 million Mohandas Gandhi auction just might have been too good to be true. "
But i mean REALLY...??
If In anycase we need to visit any government run organisation, the only thing that we find common in all apart from CORRUPTION is the big frame of Mahatma Gandhi hanging high on the wall with an old almost faded garland round it. the frame is regularly
cleaned on every Oct 2nd. All politicians atleats talks a lot of Gandhian ethics and paths he followed. But a few days before when James Otis declared the auction of Gandhi's goods like His spectacles, his sleepers and his Only machine the "Watch", there was no hussling even in the govt. to bring back the goods. The Minister of Culture, Ambika Soni was making statements like,"we are discussing the issue and will come out with some result soon", a day before the auction. how can any one at such a post be so irresponsible to make such statements. and the sad part is that we select such ministers.

A disguise or fate but The Buiseness Tycoon Vijay Mallaya, the emperor of the world of Liquor., took step and bought back the items. Even though Ambika Soni was cunning enough to claim a margin of credit for this on her ministry but was straightly denied by Mallaya. so is this the time when keeping alive Gandhian memoirs seeks dependence of liquor money. I think this is the least what Gandhi would have ever thought. But the matter to really understand is that what is the scenario speaking.,"bad Gandhi Karma".

NO., the message can also be that its after 60 yrs of the time, the demand is to run with the world with all sovereignism but at own terms.,what Mallaya is doing. the suppy to demand i s the rule of world and so far as it is legal, why not to rule the field like him. but also to understand the responsibility and heart felt emotions with almost all that needs it. I think Gandhi would not mind that. :)

But still the question remains same, should we laugh on the role of Govt. or should we apologise for selecting such people to run the nation, or should we be happy with the happy ending of this real melodrama and thank Mallaya.?

Am speechless... I hope any one can suggest better...

Engineer: A soldier without Uniform.

"how can u b so careless with your attendance? its lowering even from 48% of last semester to 34 this time..!! and that too with the help of applications and not to mention some eminent efforts of proxy from your very caring friends...!! am really helpless and ought to detain you this semester due to poor ..err .. pitiable attendance." words were pouring on ears like insects of rainy season falling in the fire knowing that they would b destroyed in there. I was not even concerned of getting these dialogues from my class in charge in my seventh sem., but I had to show my face full of guilt and make it look like a thing to really feel pity on, even Hitler was also supposed to have sympathy with such a face. this was the only trick I could do and I had to do coz I needed my admit card to sit in the semester exam from that fat man sitting on the chair of my Class-Incharge.

Indeed, like always the trick worked for me and four more tough skins in my class. These words of disguise as an attempt to make us feel ashamed of what we did were actually short of good luck charm for all five of us. A meeek attemp attemp to show how important that fat person is in our path of career, and a few lingering around of few more such fat assess was somehow enough to avail ourselves the admit card for the exam(maybe sometimes clipped with a monetary penalty of 500-1000 bucks),but cheers!! we are on ..

the stage is set for another step of ladder named B.Tech, which we need to step up to make the platform of life and living. But can this be even homoured enough to b termed "preparation". Atleast I had never felt so. Seven theory chained with two practicals were on the calender, that was subtle enough to creat halloween just two days from now, and for sure to continued for 20 long days... which actually I thought were going to prove tragically smaller days(courtesy: my previous experiences). Knowing all these facts we had enough guts to go for a show of 3 to 6 of the fresh release in a mall quite far frm our place, that was surely going to b a mathematics of minimum 6-7 hrs. But it was to follow one condition pledged as:
"We are not supposed to think even once about the exam that is goin to start after two days,
and enjoy today,as this time will not come again.."....... I mean Really?? :) let you guess...!!

a day before was physically challenging, because the study materials were to be collected from all sources alias good students.... oooops!! calling them good students would be somehow crowning them without gems., in fact these are the guys who keep alive the aroma of our school in the college, they are the lickers of those fat assess and follow the tradition of assignments(just sophisticated term for Home Work). they willl arrange the date wise notes of each subject and even produce when demanded, as we used to do in our secondary school. keeping a good friendship with these good 'college' students, makes it easy to avail the study materials, atleast for the time in which we can get them photo copied.

A tussle with sleep, hunger and girlfriend, always move rubbing shoulders with the exam time. All the three complaining for the share of time what they were actually getting before 2 days.
This situation does never make one night stand.! this goes on for a minimum of 20 days.,in every six months. But anyhow I feel like the emperor of the world, at the same time when I feel like a prisoner coming out of cage and feeling free to do whatsoever he wish to, on the day when the exams got over. the day of unzipping the boots and flooring on bed to take a deep nap. the day of filling up the hump on our front with good food and good enough time to spent on it...
and not to forget .... the day of first making my sweetheart understand the problem of shortage of time due to tests that make career.. and then pay in penalty to her of all these days by listening to how her pet dog got bone stucked in its neck on the first day to how she poured in more salt while learning how to make"gobhi ki sabji" till today noon... i trust that counts a lot of time.
After Darsheel in 'Taare Zameen Par', I believe its only me who can visualise veracity with coparison to other existing reality. I believe when a soldier goes fr a war he needs:
  • to convince his family of his returning back.
  • to adatpt in situations prevailing at the scene.
  • to carry on with some major issues in brain/heart even while shooting the enemy.
  • do his job anyhow with full responsibility.
  • to be happy enough to dance after battle and devote time to all whom he left back before going, after he returns.
This scene actually creeped in my mind when I listed following about me:
  • convince teachers for getting admit card.
  • struggle with all those mentioned above during exam.
  • overcoming their thoughts at the high times of examinations.
  • need to take up exams compulsarily yet responsibly.
  • devote time to all those complaining during that time.
Only thing where we differ apart ffrom the UNIFORM, is that they come from battle with a result.... while we come back with tension of result. In any case, I suppose we mentally become a soldier, by the time we climb up the ladder .
