Liquor brings back light to Gandhi EYES..!!

Neither I am a typical follower of Gandhi nor does my list of people whom I idealise gives any static place to Vijay Mallya. But still this matter of latest international peace concern leaves me with countless feelings of mixed emotions. As stated in the New York Times,"The happy Bollywood to the high drama surrounding the $1.8 million Mohandas Gandhi auction just might have been too good to be true. "
But i mean REALLY...??
If In anycase we need to visit any government run organisation, the only thing that we find common in all apart from CORRUPTION is the big frame of Mahatma Gandhi hanging high on the wall with an old almost faded garland round it. the frame is regularly
cleaned on every Oct 2nd. All politicians atleats talks a lot of Gandhian ethics and paths he followed. But a few days before when James Otis declared the auction of Gandhi's goods like His spectacles, his sleepers and his Only machine the "Watch", there was no hussling even in the govt. to bring back the goods. The Minister of Culture, Ambika Soni was making statements like,"we are discussing the issue and will come out with some result soon", a day before the auction. how can any one at such a post be so irresponsible to make such statements. and the sad part is that we select such ministers.

A disguise or fate but The Buiseness Tycoon Vijay Mallaya, the emperor of the world of Liquor., took step and bought back the items. Even though Ambika Soni was cunning enough to claim a margin of credit for this on her ministry but was straightly denied by Mallaya. so is this the time when keeping alive Gandhian memoirs seeks dependence of liquor money. I think this is the least what Gandhi would have ever thought. But the matter to really understand is that what is the scenario speaking.,"bad Gandhi Karma".

NO., the message can also be that its after 60 yrs of the time, the demand is to run with the world with all sovereignism but at own terms.,what Mallaya is doing. the suppy to demand i s the rule of world and so far as it is legal, why not to rule the field like him. but also to understand the responsibility and heart felt emotions with almost all that needs it. I think Gandhi would not mind that. :)

But still the question remains same, should we laugh on the role of Govt. or should we apologise for selecting such people to run the nation, or should we be happy with the happy ending of this real melodrama and thank Mallaya.?

Am speechless... I hope any one can suggest better...
